Güne Mocn

Güne Mocn is a Vienna-based guitarist and composer who crafts his own sonic universe through a unique blend of jazz fusion and funk inspired by the retro vibes of the 1980s and 1970s. His music fuses complex harmonies with infectious grooves.

His journey began in the rock and metal scene, deeply immersed in the sounds of 80s thrash and classic metal. Since 2012 he gained live experience in various bands. After moving to Vienna in 2015, he toured half Europe with the band „Wildhunt“.

Studying music in 2020, he delved into jazz and fusion in depth. Artists like Chick Corea Elektric Band, Frank Gambale, Casiopea, Wheater Report and many more, inspired his style to serve emotional depth grounded in groove and atmosphere.

With the EP "Do it!", Güne Mocn delivers the perfect soundtrack for a relaxed summer day by the pool. Inspired by the feel-good sound, effortless smoothness, and jazz-rock/fusion of the ‘80s, this EP blends airy grooves, funky basslines, and virtuosic solos into a refreshing mix of nostalgia and modernity.
